Prodigy Model für Anfänger

Here is a piece of equipment where young goalies might think bigger is better. But this is not the case. Bigger means heavier, and not fitting your hands properly. It also means, not being able to close your hand properly.

Therefore not allowing you to make the save.

So when you choose a new glove, choose one that fits your hand properly and feels comfortable when closing your hand. Don't go for the theory that "I will stop more pucks because it's bigger". Go for the theory "I feel comfortable, and I will stop more pucks because I have the proper fitting gear".

I also highly recommend that you look at the new Fortress series catching glove from Warrior where they have changed the angle at which you wear your glove. This feature allows you to have your glove facing the shot with your wrist in a more relaxed position. Unlike the competitors glove where you have to bend your wrist backward so your glove faces the shooter, causing over time fatigue of your wrist and a glove positioning not facing forward towards the shooter.
